In the blink of an eye, he has turned 10 months.
I see him everyday and snuggle with him every night, but I still miss him whenever he is not by my side.
Some people will say that I am spoiling him. Others will tell me to leave him alone.
He needs to learn to be independent. You are not always going to be there.
You can be sure that I will try my very best to be there for him as much as I can, to show him that
he is loved,
he is worthy, and
he is important to us.
So that no matter what difficulties he faces in the future, he knows that he has a safe place to return to.
He will eventually learn that the world is a scary place, but for now, he does not need to see that ugly side. For now, he can stay safe in my arms until he is ready to face the world on his own.
